How did the idea of creating a cosmetics brand for athletes come about?<\/h3>\n

I have always wanted to create something original in the sports arena. Furthermore, I am passionate about beauty and cosmetics. So, I decided to combine these two passions as a way to contribute to a healthy lifestyle in society, based on good habits, especially self-care and sports practice. Fitbeauty is not just a sports beauty brand; it’s a way of life.<\/p>\n

How was the process of creating the products?<\/h3>\n

From the outset, I envisioned the clean beauty concept for Fitbeauty, which means using natural and vegan ingredients with cruelty-free, sustainable, and ethical production. I also wanted the products to be 100% made in Portugal. Initially, it was a significant challenge, but I managed to fulfill all these aspirations. In this initial phase, I focused on addressing the main issues faced by athletes, developing multifunctional products that promote their health, well-being, comfort, and beauty.<\/p>\n

What products have been launched?<\/h3>\n

We have already launched 5 products: the Post-Workout Cleansing Foam, the Post-Workout Moisturizer, the Power Moisturizer, the Ultra Sunscreen, and the Full Recovery.<\/p>\n

How did you manage to juggle entrepreneurship with your profession and training routine?<\/h3>\n

I am certain it’s the most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life because I lead a very busy life as a mother, professor, and triathlete. Adding an endeavor that demands so much was not easy, but with discipline and organization, we can accomplish anything, especially if we have a clear purpose and belief.<\/p>\n

Can we expect more products?<\/h3>\n

Of course. We are committed to developing and launching more products, such as a haircare line and specific products for each sport (swimming, running, cycling, tennis, gym, etc.) tailored to their particular needs.<\/p>\n

What message do you have for women who want to start their own business\/entrepreneurship?<\/h3>\n

There is a thought that inspires me a lot: “Start first, improve later.” Sometimes, we wait for the “best moment,” the “perfect project,” forgetting that it is the journey that makes us better. Even some of the biggest companies started small, with a simple idea. For example, Apple began in a garage. So, we must start with the resources we have at the moment because the most important thing is to have the courage to step out of our comfort zone and face our fears, just as sports teach us. If you have a dream, believe in it and work hard to make it a reality. At the end of the day, you will be proud of what you have achieved, and it will be worth it.<\/p>\n
